January 15th 2010 - New Wedding Assistant Support on 64bit

Wedding Assistant 4.0.0.31 now supports 64bit Windows Systems. This also includes Windows 7 and Vista.

The new interface makes everything easier. Office2007-like simple and visible - all options are there for you. nothing is hidden in menus or sub-options.

VISTA Compatibility -
Wedding Assistant is fully compatible with Microsoft VISTA, the new Windows version.

Help is all around -
Clarifying tips are spread throughout Wedding Assistant, making every feature and every option clearer, without having to open manuals and look for help.
In the following screenshot, the mouse cursor was on "learn more about splitting a transaction between budget items". Delaying on that text, immediately pops up the window explaining about the feature.

July 13th 2006 - WA Website's new look and version 2.1.1.1

WA's new version 2.1.1.1 includes error fixing, small improvements and general changes.

A new look was implemented to the website. New pages are coming soon.

May 2nd 2006 - New version uploaded

WA now synchronizes between guest list in invitee list when changing global event settings.
Plus - a synch is performed when a member of the family is added or deleted.

Unregistered version policy:
Changes were made to the unregistered version limitations. Due to user requests, HWS has decided to change the limitations on the unregistered version:
· No limit on number of entries in Budget Account and in To do items
· No time limit. The user can try the software for as long as he or she desires.

The current limitations on unregistered version are as follows:
- 5 Tables maximum in seating arrangement
- 10 Active to-do items
- 10 budget accounts
- 10 expenses
- 5 services
- RSVP activity is limited to some extent
- Printing and excel export are disabled (on screen reporting, including report preview is enabled).

Help & Manual:
The system is now shipped with 2 additional documents:
· Full help file (on top of the embedded help for every window). User can run the help file by using CTRL F1. The standard CHM help allows the user to use Index and Search in order to get to the help item.
· The Wedding Assistant User Manual that comes in PDF format (83 pages). This file is installed in the Help folder under the installation folder.

Other enhancements:
The "Choose & Use" mechanism was enhanced to support the "To do" activities. Now users can copy from pre-defined To-do item list.
The system was optimized to work more efficiently. Some minor problems were fixed.

We are proud to announce the release of the Wedding Assistant (hereby WA), an innovative wedding planning software, intended for the bride, groom and their families.

WA offers the users the management Guest Lists, Multiple Events, Seating Arrangements, Expenses and Budgeting control, To-do lists and Gift tracking.

Unlike other wedding planners that were developed years ago, WA presents a new and modern XP® like user's interface. As in Excel®, the user may group, filter sort and print every displayed data table, thus, creating numerous built in custom reports.

Unlike other wedding planners, WA trial version is a full version with no time limit and gives the user the benefit of testing the system with no pressure. The trial version only limit is to the maximum of 40 guests and 10 expense items,

WA also introduces several unique features: “Immediate Help©” – An in-window HTML help tool, “Choose and Use©” – predefined item lists for the user to choose from, automatic backup facility combined with data send-out email and the "what you see is what you print" concept.

Accompanying WA is the Guest List Builder utility (GLB), a freeware tool designed for couples and their families. GLB is installed on any machine and helps any user to build a guest list that later is exported to the main WA installation. This freeware utility is available at Wedding-Assistant site.
