April 4th 2011 – Announcing Wedding Assistant 5.5
Wedding Assistant 5.5 includes the following major changes:
1. Main Menu - Wedding Assistant‘s new main menu is easier than ever. All of the features and options are visible and accessible from the new menu.
2. Checklist – according to the wedding date, Wedding Assistant created a built in checklist that includes many to do items in the timeline before the wedding. The Checklist has multiple date ranges (days, weeks and months before the wedding date).
December 9th 2010 – Announcing Wedding Assistant 4.7
Wedding Assistant 4.7 includes some exciting new features:
1. Meal Selection – every event can now include a meal selection with the RSVP process. Define any number of options, kids meals, notes for allergies.
2. New and improved event management interface – all RSVP, invitation tracking and meal selections are now in a new area, which keeps Wedding Assistant simple and easy to use! Added capability of omitting children or companions in one click.
3. The engaged couple – can now be defined as partners, same sex wedding is easy to set up.
January 15th 2010 – New Wedding Assistant Support on 64bit
Wedding Assistant 4.0.0.31 now supports 64bit Windows Systems. This also includes Windows 7 and Vista.
June 11th 2009 – Wedding Assistant 4.0 is available for Download!
New exciting features on this major release:
1. Outlook connectivity – Import your guests contact information directly and automatically from Outlook.
2. QuickStart - New and Improved.
3. Welcome screen – New look for new users. A comprehensive, simple start for your planning.
4. New filters for the Guest list – Guest without addresses and Guest with incomplete names.
5. Choose skins for Wedding Assistant using the skin changer.
February 11th 2009 – 3.6 – Skin Selection was added to Wedding Assistant
Now you can choose how Wedding Assistant looks like – select from 9 different looks for your Wedding Assistant, including office 2007 and Valentine.
October 21st 2008 – version 3.5
New QuickStart window added to Wedding Assistant. All main actions are available from this window – Add and edit guests, invite to events, define your events, Plan Seating, Manage budget and expenses and much more!
November 15th 2007 – Version 3 – what’s new?

VISTA Compatibility:
Wedding Assistant is fully compatible with Microsoft VISTA, the new Windows version.

Clarifying tips are spread throughout Wedding Assistant, making every feature and every option clearer, without having to open manuals and look for help.
In the following screenshot, the mouse cursor was on “learn more about splitting a transaction between budget items”. Delaying on that text, immediately pops up the window explaining about the feature.

July 13th 2006 – WA Website’s new look and version 2.1.1.1
Wedding Assistant’s new version 2.1.1.1 includes error fixing, small improvements and general changes.
A new look was implemented to the website. New pages are coming soon.
May 2nd 2006 – New version uploaded
Wedding Assistant now synchronizes between guest list in invitee list when changing global event settings.
Plus – a synch is performed when a member of the family is added or deleted.
